Molnlycke – Mepilex Ag

Mepilex Ag combines the unique features of Safetac technology and exudate management with the bacteria reducing power of silver. Mepilex Ag goes to work quickly, inactivating wound pathogens within 30 minutes and for up to 7 days. At dressing removal, Mepilex Ag does not stick to the wound or strip surrounding skin, minimizing patient pain and wound trauma.

Areas of use
Moderately exuding wounds, lower extremity wounds (diabetic, venous and arterial ulcers), pressure ulcers, partial thickness burns, traumatic injuries, graft and donor sites, under compression, traumatic wounds (e.g., skin tears and secondary healing wounds), infected wounds, burns.
